Emergency Response for Iraqi Kurdistan (Completed)

Description

Many IDPs were not able to take needed items with them when they escaped from their homes and came to Kurdistan. During the winter months, most IDPs are left without the proper items to give them warmth and keep them healthy during the cold winter months. Recognizing this need, ADRA Kurdistan put together the Emergency Response for Iraqi Kurdistan (ERI) project, funded by DFATD-IHA, to reach over 5,000 families. These families were assisted with winterization kits. Each kit had a blanket and other items to help the IDPs be better prepared for the winter.
